Its Japanese owner brought it from Claxton to the Dry Dock to have 55 hp. Washington-Estep engine installed. original name to be Reta M [sic] but name denied, so renamed Nagoya after owner’s birthplace. (DN April 30) However, referred to by Skeena M. on May 14, 1927. Upper works were completed at Oceanic Cannery. Back in Rupert at beginning of June for final finishing. However, this report says it was built at Carlisle Cannery during the winter. PR Daily News June 11, 1927.
